The Nest is a beautiful self-contained one-bedroom cottage situated next to the main farmhouse. It can sleep up to 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children.

Large bedroom opening onto a private garden
It’s the perfect location for those wishing to explore the local area, and is ideal for those interested in walking and wildlife.
It comprises of a large bedroom with a super king bed, reading lights, built in wardrobes with a full-length mirror and French doors opening up onto the private garden. It’s bright and airy room, but once you’ve drawn the curtains and dimmed the lights it’s the most perfect place to cosy up with a good book.
Just off the bedroom is a large bathroom, with a walk-in shower, twin vanity unit and wc. Towels and are provided.
The small but perfectly formed kitchen has everything you need, with a full oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge. You’ll find some of the basics such as cooking oil, salt, pepper etc already in the cupboards.

Lounge space with underfloor heating
The living room is a former conservatory with a newly fitted cosy roof, and has underfloor heating to ensure comfort all year round. The living room has a double sofa bed, TV and dining table. You’ll also find a selection of games and toys to keep you entertained, and books and maps to help you whilst exploring the area.
The nest sleeps two adults and one infant (in a cot), in the main bedroom and a further adult or 2 children can be accommodated on the sofa bed in the living room. Please advise if the sofa bed is required upon booking, to ensure bedding and towels are provided before your arrival.
We are able to provide a travel cot, high chair and a baby bath upon request.
Up to two well behaved dogs are permitted during your stay. We ask that dogs are kept off the furniture and beds and sleep in their own bed. Dogs must be kept under control at all times, and be cleaned up after. Please note there are other resident dogs and livestock on site. If you have any queries regarding bringing a dog, please call us to discuss before booking. The garden is enclosed, but is not fully escape proof!
Exploring Aldeburgh and beyond
When you get finally get bored of watching the natural world go by, you can head off down to Aldeburgh for a slightly faster pace of life.
The coastal town of Aldeburgh has some of the finest restaurants in the area, from The Regatta, The Lighthouse to the new and renowned L’Escargot Sur Mer (sister restaurant to the Soho eaterie). There’s obviously the famous fish and chips which are always popular.
There’s also some great small independent shops, galleries and bakeries, so you’ll never be short of something to look at or eat.
